Join the Partridge Lakes Cafe team: a fast paced, friendly place where great hospitality matters as much as the surroundings. We are looking for people happy to work 20 to 40 hours a week, including weekends, on a rota.
As a Barista at Partridge Lakes Cafe you will be the face of our lakeside retreat, making drinks and delivering the friendly, efficient service our loyal customers love.
Set against a stunning backdrop, you will work as part of a close knit team, keeping the cafe welcoming for our regulars and visitors alike. Previous barista or cafe experience helps but is not essential: a willingness to learn, attention to detail and a strong work ethic matter just as much.
What you will do
- Preparing and serving hot drinks, including coffees, teas and speciality drinks
- Running the coffee machine and keeping drink quality consistent
- Taking orders and payments on the till
- Serving at the cafe hatch with friendly, efficient service
- Keeping the coffee station clean, stocked and organised
- Helping with simple food, clearing tables, washing up, deliveries and bins
What we are looking for
- You enjoy a customer facing cafe and take pride in great coffee
- Friendly and approachable, happy chatting with customers
- Hands on and happy to help with cleaning and restocking
- A team player who stays calm when it is busy
- Flexible, reliable and a good communicator
